How to add the clock

  1. Choose a city above, or Visitor's local time to show each visitor their own time, and pick the dark or light style.
  2. Press Copy code.
  3. Paste the code where the clock should appear. In WordPress use a Custom HTML block; in Wix, Squarespace and most site builders use an Embed or HTML block.

The clock shows the city name, the time with seconds and the date. Clicking it opens the city's page on Time Atlas World in a new tab.

Frequently asked questions

Is the clock widget free?

Yes. You can use it on personal, school and business websites. There is no sign-up and no limit on the number of pages.

Does it handle daylight saving time?

Yes. The clock runs in each visitor's browser with the IANA time zone database, so it moves to and from daylight saving time on the right date without any change to your code.

Will it slow down my page or track my visitors?

The widget is one small page with no images, no advertising and no cookies. With loading="lazy" it only loads when the visitor scrolls to it.

Can I change the size?

Yes. Choose Small (200 × 110), Medium (300 × 150) or Large (400 × 200) above, or type your own width and height in the code: the text scales to fit any size from about 180 × 100 pixels. The style max-width:100% keeps it inside narrow columns on phones.

My site builder asks for a link, not code. What do I use?

Use the address inside src="…", for example https://timeatlasworld.com/embed?city=tokyo. Tools such as Notion accept that link as an embed.
